Gina Germany, President

Gina Germany, President of Touching Hearts Senior Care, opened the doors of her senior care business in August 1, 2007. Ms. Germany spent many years working in the non-profit arena and raising funds for charity.  Then she happened across an agency that assisted seniors with chores and activities of daily living. This particular agency had been developed in the late 1980’s when senior care was not very popular. After much research, Ms. Germany moved from Las Vegas in 2007 where she was the Executive Director of American Cancer Society.  She created Touching Hearts Senior Care and became a Certified Senior Advisor through the Society of Senior Advisors in 2009.

Ms. Germany possesses two degrees from Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma. Because of Ms. Germany’s education and experience in community development, she has been able to identify needs in our senior community that have not currently been provided. These issues include transportation from the hospital, patient navigation, case management and more. “I created programs such as the Welcome Home Program to provide transportation and case management.  This program helps our elderly navigate through society’s complex systems, i.e., Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Administration, and Long Term Insurance” says Ms. Germany.

Ms. Germany has also created a 501c3 organization, Gulf Coast Senior Services, to address the Alzheimer’s and Dementia issues in the Gulf Coast area. Because of her passion to help our elderly with this critical need – memory care, Ms. Germany recently traveled to Philadelphia to become an expert Certified Dementia Practitioner. Ms. Germany will provide Dementia Classes, education and services to help alleviate the lack of services for the critical need of care for those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.  Ms. Germany is also a Certified Senior Advisor.  

Touching Hearts Senior Care is a Christian organization and upholds Christian values, morals and standards while providing expert senior care and senior care advice. Many awards have been received by Touching Hearts Senior Care including the Small Business of the Month Award and the Eagle Award from the Mobile Chamber of Commerce.

Lisa Moore, Office Coordinator

Lisa Moore is the Office Coordinator at Touching Hearts Senior Care. She is a single mother who grew up in Orange County. California. She’s traveled from California, to Nevada, to Colorado and finally settling down in Mobile AL with her daughter, Ariana in 2011; when she immediately came to work for Touching Hearts Senior Care.

Ms. Moore has worked in the medical field her entire professional career. In Nevada, she held the position of Medical Records Supervisor for Angels Home Health Care, which is her sister’s business. From 2011-2012 she was a caregiver For Touching Hearts Senior Care, caring and loving our Seniors as her own family. Since 2012, she moved up to Office Coordinator and has been a big part of the Touching Hearts family. “My favorite thing to do is spend time with friends and family, read, watch movies, and travel to see my family out West.”
